The BSHS Sports Medicine Team
At the Academies of Bryan Station, our athletes have access to world class sports medicine healthcare through a partnership with UK Healthcare. Our team is made up of a wide range of healthcare providers all with the same goal: maintaining the health and well-being of our student-athlete Defenders.
David "Jake" Jacobs LAT, ATC
David “Jake” Jacobs; is an Athletic Trainer, Certified, (ATC) through the National Athletic Trainers Association, contracted through the University of Kentucky Sports Medicine Center to work with Bryan Station High School. Jake has been working with Bryan Station athletes since 1990. He is originally from Cambridge, Ohio. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine and Secondary Education from Wilmington College of Ohio and a Masters of Arts in Health Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Jake spends his free time with his wife and their 2 Old English Sheep Dogs.
Allie is our Graduate Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She is currently in the Post Professional Masters of Athletic Training Program at UK. She received her Bachelors of Science - Athletic Training degree, with a Psychology minor, from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. She grew up in central Wisconsin, and enjoys visiting her family there (but not the weather). In addition to her responsibilities at Station, Allie also is the Certified Athletic Trainer for Bryan Station Middle School and Winburn Middle School. When she's not at either of her schools, Allie enjoys hiking, painting and cheering on the Packers and the Crimson Tide.
